Formed in 1993, Moberly’s House has a strong spirit of community and loyalty to the House, which is fostered by the older pupils and readily accepted by the junior boys. The House is known for its achievements in sport and drama. On the field, the House has only lost three games of rugby in twelve years, has won every Clifton Chase bar one, and won school athletics for the last twelve years. In drama, its productions have won many awards and much critical acclaim.
In the evenings after prep, pupils are able to play a range of sports, including soccer, water polo, swimming, fives, badminton and squash. In addition, there are regular pool table sessions and games of touch rugby, and occasional paintballing.
Recent leavers include Alex Clymo, who has just been awarded a First in Economics at St John’s, Cambridge, and James Robinson, who has achieved a First in Engineering, also at St John’s.
