Clifton College are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Sports Centre Manager to operate and develop a dual usage Sport & Leisure facility.  

The successful candidate will have a proven record of commercial facility operation along with strong experience in team management and development.  

Experience of membership growth along with operational expertise relating to fitness classes, swimming lessons, lifeguarding and personal training and how they  complement each other will be key.  

An industry specific knowledge base relating to health and safety, financial control, marketing and product diversification will also be a key attribute of the successful candidate. 

This is a full time (40 hrs per week) permanent role. The rate of pay is £25,000 – £28000 per annum. The closing date for applications is midnight on the 8th December 2020.

Experience of membership journeys, lifeguarding, fitness classes and personal  training are key as is the ability to manage duty staff and their performance.  

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the Sport & Leisure  industry specific to the supervision of both wet and dry side operations including  swimming lessons, lifeguarding and pool plant operations.  

Regular customer facing shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends  form a key element of this role.

Working hours will be on a shift basis which will include early mornings,  evenings and weekends.
