The flexi-boarding option will enable your child to board for up to 4 nights each week, including both week days and weekends.
Occasional boarding for Day and Flexi-boarding pupils, is available on request at a charge of £45 per night.

Music lessons are available to pupils in a range of disciplines. If you wish your child to have lessons please complete the relevant section of the authorisation form or contact the Director of Music. The charge in the Upper and Prep schools will be £35 per lesson for a 40 minute lesson and £26.25 for 30 minutes for children in the Pre-Prep. At the discretion of the teacher, pupils may be taught in groups, or for different lesson lengths with an appropriate adjustment to the fee. Where available, music instruments can be hired but a deposit may be required.
Notwithstanding the College’s Terms and Conditions, if you wish to withdraw your child from music lessons, or change teacher, you must allow a period of notice equivalent to 10 lessons from the day that notice is received. Unless notice of cancellation is given in writing, it will be assumed that the pupil requires tuition to continue from term to term and arrangements will be made accordingly.
Reduction for Brothers & Sisters
A reduction of the net school fee (referred to in the table overleaf) is currently offered to parents who have two children or more at the College, excluding the Nursery. The reductions, which are applied to the younger children, are 5% for the second child, 20% for the third child and 50% for the fourth and any subsequent children whilst they all simultaneously attend the School. This discount remains the subject of annual review.
HM Forces Discount
Clifton College offers a 20% Forces Bursary for the sons and daughters of serving members of HM Forces which is available from Year 4 onwards.
Fees in Advance Scheme
The College operates a scheme whereby, in return for a lump sum payment, the College offers a credit to be applied against each term’s fee invoice for a set number of terms. Further information is available from the Fees team upon request.
Childcare Vouchers & Tax Free Childcare
The College accepts payment against qualifying fees by childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare.
Pupil Possessions & Private Medical Insurance
Unfortunately the College cannot entertain any claims for loss of, or damage to, the personal property of pupils. Parents are strongly advised to make arrangements for insuring their children’s possessions, including bicycles. This can normally be done by arranging an extension to a household contents policy or by taking out a specialist third party scheme. Private medical insurance for pupils is available through AXA PPP. Please contact the Fees team for further details.
Notice of Withdrawal
In accordance with the College’s terms and conditions, a full term’s notice must be given in writing if you wish to withdraw your child from the College, or if you wish to change your child’s place at the College from one type of boarding to another or to a day place. Failing such notice, a full term’s fees will be charged.
