The Clifton College Development Trust was founded in 2011. The Trust’s ambitions are underpinned by three guiding principles:
- To build on and further enhance the reputation and strength of the School.
- To increase the number of scholarships and bursaries awarded, enabling greater access for talented pupils regardless of circumstances.
- To ensure Clifton remains a place of distinction for future generations.

Simon Brewer
Simon Brewer is an OC (East Town 1970-81), graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in Economic History, and subsequently took the advanced management programme at INSEAD, France. He also attended Buckingham University’s Military History programme.
He started his career at Citibank in 1985, where he trained as a portfolio manager, before joining Morgan Stanley in 1989. Over the 17 years he spent there, he managed their global balanced portfolio, was Chairman of their European Asset Allocation Committee and Chief Investment Officer. For the last 12 years he has been CEO and an owner of Vantage Investment Advisory Ltd. In addition he is a senior advisor to Rothschild and Co, in London, a Governor of Clifton College and Chairman of their development trust, and served as a Trustee of Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is the Co- Founder of The MoneyMaze Podcast.
He has contributed articles and been featured in the Spanish, Italian, French and German newspapers and debated Brexit on France 24, the French news channel and live in Berlin. He also contributes letters to the Financial Times and Daily Telegraph. His speaking invitations have included addressing the bursars of Oxford and Cambridge Universities, financial conferences in Dubai and Tokyo and Sud Deutsche Zeitung’s annual business conference in Berlin (Germany’s leading newspaper), as well as Family Office and Charitable events.
Simon lives in London with his wife, Katie and their three children. He is a keen sportsman (and ageing competitor,) and fascinated with military history.

Nick Tolchard
Nick Tolchard is an OC South Town 1970-1980). BSc (Geophysics) Southampton University (1981-84). Senior roles in Asset Management industry since 1984. Hill Samuel 1988-94. Director Fidelity International 1994-2000. Joined Invesco Asset Management in 2000.
Now Director of Invesco Asset Management and head of Fixed Income for EMEA. Deputy Chair of UK Investment Association Trade and Investment Committee, global promotor of UK Asset Management industry.
President Bristol Junior Chamber of Commerce 1995-96. Member of OC Executive Committee in 2002, Chairman 2007 to 2018. Trustee of OC Endowment Fund, Governor, and Founding Trustee of CC Development Trust. He was Vice Chair of Clifton Council from 2016 to 2019 and became Chair in September 2019. Father of three Cliftonians

Graeme McEvoy
OC 1976-1987 (LS, MH, HH, SH, Praeposter, Head of House, 1st XV), BA in History from Exeter University 1991
Graeme has spent the last 23 years of his career in the Financial Services industry, initially with Goldman Sachs in London, Zurich and New York, and more recently with Morgan Stanley in New York where he is the Head of Operations for the Institutional Sales and Trading businesses of the firm. Prior to working in the Financial Services industry he was in the Royal Navy for 10 years, joining on a university sponsorship scheme on leaving Clifton. He served in the Submarine Service, at sea and ashore, in both front line units and Headquarters staff.
Graeme currently lives outside New York City with his family. Aside from his work in Morgan Stanley, he is a Director of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Vice Chair of the Operations and Technology Committee for SIFMA, and also a Trustee of the Clifton College Development Trust and a Governor of Clifton College.

Milan S. Morjaria
Milan S Morjaria, (SH 1985), Head of House and Head of School; OC Milan is founder and CEO of MSM Investment Advisors, a multi-family office based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to founding MSM investment Advisors SA, Milan was Managing Director at Citigroup responsible for their Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office clients in Europe. Milan has over 30 years of financial markets experience. Milan graduated from the London School of Economics with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Dr Adrienne J Rivlin, MA, MPhil, DPhil. OC (1991-2001 Poole’s, Oakeley’s House). Clifton College academic scholarship, Praeposter, Head of School, Captain 1st XI hockey, 1st VII Netball, 1st VI tennis. Brasenose College, Oxford (PPE, Sociology), Linacre College, Oxford (Psychiatry). University of Oxford academic scholarship, Department of Health PhD scholarship. Hockey blue 2003, 2004. Both siblings were also educated at Clifton. Former Secretary OC Society (Oxford branch). 2011-2020 Partner in the Global Strategy Group at KPMG, specialising in Healthcare and Life Sciences. Partner at L.E.K. Consulting 2020- .She was appointed Governor in 2012.

Tom Elliott
Tom is a consultant in the financial sector, specialising in asset allocation advice for multi-asset funds. He worked for 18 years at JP Morgan Asset Management, first as head of report writing in the marketing team, from 2006 as a markets strategist with responsibility for U.K, Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East clients. He left in 2013 as an executive director. Tom is a visiting lecturer in the Political Economy department, at Kings College, London, focusing on monetary economics and banking.
Tom is a third-generation Cliftonian, with an undergraduate degree in History from Sussex University and a Masters degree in Economic History from the LSE.
Giles Palmer
Giles Palmer is the founder and CEO of Brandwatch, a leading social intelligence firm. He started Brandwatch after leaving BSkyB in late 2005. Since its launch in August 2007, Brandwatch has grown to become one of the world’s leading social listening and analytics tech companies, empowering some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies across the globe. Giles lead the merger with Crimson Hexagon in October 2018 to create a $100m revenue SAAS business
His goal for the company is to help organizations find and understand actionable insights from social data and share the right insights with the right people throughout the enterprise.
Giles has a Physics degree from Durham University and is a Chartered Accountant. He is based in Brighton, UK.
