All meals are taken centrally in the Dining Hall, known as the ‘Big School Kitchen’, where our professional catering staff prepares them. Menus are carefully selected to provide a healthy and balanced diet, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.
Each term, our menus and nutritional standards are reviewed to ensure balanced and healthy meal options are always available to meet the full range of dietary intake for all ages. Self-service allows pupils to choose their own food from a daily selection of main meals, including vegetarian and kosher options.
In addition, the school has a café in the Junior Common Room situated in the Crypt, where sixth formers can buy additional healthy snacks. There is also a shop known as ‘The Grubber’, where younger pupils can buy drinks.
The School was recently visited by environmental health and received a five star food hygiene award.
