Strong start to term for Charities Committee

The Charities Committee has already started the Michaelmas term on a strong note: our match-fund donor from last term’s Tap-Twinning fundraiser emailed to express gratitude to all pupils for raising a record amount!

This term, we had a red-themed home clothes day on October 16th to raise donations and awareness for our main charity Show Racism The Red Card, the UK’s leading anti-racism charity.

Our other chosen charities for the term are Education Support, focusing on the mental health and wellbeing of staff in educational settings, and the Forest of Avon Trust.

Later in the term, we are planning to have a mini Christmas fair with hot chocolate stalls and a Christmas film screening for Third and Fourth Form.
