Year 6 Primary Maths Challenge 2024

The UK Government has issued a red warning of wind in the Bristol area, and advise that people must stay indoors and travel should be avoided. This means that the College site will be closed tomorrow morning (Saturday 7th December). The scheduled SATS exams on this date also cannot be held at the College at this time.

We welcomed 13 local prep and primary schools, consisting of 15 teams, to Clifton College today to take part in our annual Year 6 Primary Team Challenge.

This was an opportunity to challenge their mathematical ability against like-minded individuals. The teams competed across four different rounds, testing a range of mathematical concepts as well as their collaboration and communication skills.

A huge congratulations to Tockington Manor School who were the overall winners of the day, with Clifton College and Collegiate School finishing in second and third place respectively.
