Sixth Form talks kick off with adventurer Leon McCarron

In the first Sixth Form lecture of the Michaelmas Term, students enjoyed a talk by adventurer, explorer, storyteller, author and filmmaker Leon McCarron. Leon is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Fellow of the Abraham Path Initiative, a recipient of the 2017 Neville Shulman Challenge Award and a BBC presenter.

He shared his stories and experiences gained from walking over 32,000 miles on self-powered adventures. A fascinating and good-humoured talk which was enjoyed by all.
