Photography pupils’ success at Bristol Photo Festival

Clifton College photography pupils recently entered their images into the Bristol Education Partnership’s photography competition in collaboration with Bristol Photo Festival and the Soil Association.

The pupils’ brilliant photos were taken during lockdown as part of their coursework or taken as part of one of their photography activities. The competition was divided into three categories; KS3, KS4, and KS5 and ten photographs could be entered into each. The theme was titled ‘Growing Spaces’ and the aim was to showcase and celebrate the natural, growing world of flowers, vegetables, weeds, plants, trees – and even people.

Our Photography teacher, Mr Wigginton said, “I am really pleased to announce that Fay won in the KS4 category, Georgie was highly commended in the KS4 category and Shelly and Vincent were both highly commended in the KS5 Category.”
