We’re delighted that Clifton College has once again been named as one of the top 100 preparatory schools in England by the Sunday Times – the only independent school in Bristol to make the list.
The 25th edition of the newspaper’s Parent Power list used examination results in reading, spelling and mathematics to rank preparatory schools across the country, and Clifton rose 15 places year on year in the Parent Power rankings from 95 to 78. You can read the Sunday Times Schools Guide here.
Inclusion on the list confirms a strong period for the school under Head of College Dr Tim Greene, which also saw it featured in the Tatler School’s Guide, the Good Schools Guide and pass its Independent School Inspection (ISI) with flying colours.
John Milne, Headmaster of Clifton College Preparatory School, said:
“I am delighted that we have been recognised for this achievement, although academic success is only one strand of what we aim for as a school for our pupils.
We are really pleased that our 2016 results have pushed us higher in the rankings. I would like to congratulate teachers and pupils for their hard work, enthusiasm and achievements.”
