Clifton College has been ranked top 30 of the Best-Schools.co.uk top 100 co-educational independent boarding schools in the UK for 2016.
The positions are compiled from the percentage of A* and A grades scored at A Level.
Clifton pupils had some fantastic A Level results in 2016 with four candidates scoring the top possible marks. In total, 80% of grades were A* to B and 50% were A* to A. A quarter of all candidates scored only A* and A grades in their exams.
Our pupils excel in a wide range of subjects, including art, music, sport and drama. Recent Clifton College graduates have gone on to study music at the Royal Academy of Music, perform Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre, and win gold at the Olympics!
Head of Clifton College Dr Tim Greene said: “We are delighted to be ranked top 30 based on the fantastic results of our pupils. It really is testament to their hard work and the dedication of our staff. We aim to ensure every pupil can fulfil their potential and support them in doing so through high quality teaching, excellent facilities and opportunities, and individualised pastoral care.”
