House Art Exhibition

On Sunday 28th November we had our House Art Exhibition on the top floor of the Tribe building and our adjudicator was the Bristol-based artist Tom Hughes. Tom is an excellent painter who has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal Academy and the National Portrait Gallery in London.

Tom was very impressed with the student’s pieces and had to make some really difficult decisions. Clifton is a very diverse school with pupils of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds which showed in the work, making the exhibition very interesting to look at. In the end he made his choices and the names of the winners from the various year groups were read out in Chapel the following morning and invited to receive their prizes from the Head Master.
