International Music Festival and Summer Serenade 2025
Congratulations to our musicians for their recent performances outside of the College in June.
Seven pupil chamber musicians were invited to perform at the Clifton International Festival at St Paul’s Church, giving complete performances of Brahms’ stirring Piano Trio No. 1 in B, and Schubert’s sublime String Quintet.

Two weeks later, seven soloists performed concert movements with a professional orchestra at our annual Summer Serenade at All Saints Church: violin concerto movements by Mozart, Sibelius, Dvorak and Wieniawski; cello concerto movements by Tchaikovsky and Dvorak; and the Andante from Tomasi’s Ravel-esque trumpet concerto. The evening continued with pop, rock and jazz workshop performances back in the Music School with accompanying refreshments to an equally enthusiastic audience.
Meanwhile the Soul Band and Big Band have been on tour including performances at Tockington School.
A huge well done to all our performers for their music-making in this final full month of the term, on top of their music exams and academic exams!
