Year 9 Academic Scholars Presentations Evening
19 May 2025
Congratulations to all of our Year 9 Academic Scholars who participated in the Presentations Evening on Friday 16th May.
In a packed Kendrew Room, parents, pupils and staff were treated to an array of topics ranging from Empires, aesthetics, black holes, The Fermi Paradox, dog cognition, to anthropological perceptions of old age.
Initiated, organised and run completely by the pupils themselves, all who were lucky enough to attend were engaged, informed, challenged, sometimes bemused, but always entertained. The quality of the presentations and the level of conversation afterwards, all bodes well for the level of intellectual discourse and academic ambition of our scholars going forward into the years ahead!
