Graeme McEvoy

OC 1976-1987 (LS, MH, HH, SH, Praeposter, Head of House, 1st XV), BA in History from Exeter University 1991

Graeme has spent the last 23 years of his career in the Financial Services industry, initially with Goldman Sachs in London, Zurich and New York, and more recently with Morgan Stanley in New York where he is the Head of Operations for the Institutional Sales and Trading businesses of the firm. Prior to working in the Financial Services industry he was in the Royal Navy for 10 years, joining on a university sponsorship scheme on leaving Clifton. He served in the Submarine Service, at sea and ashore, in both front line units and Headquarters staff.

Graeme currently lives outside New York City with his family. Aside from his work in Morgan Stanley, he is a Director of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Vice Chair of the Operations and Technology Committee for SIFMA, and also Chairman of the Clifton College Development Trust and a Governor of Clifton College.

“Having lived in the US for the last 15 years, and seeing the impact that well run development funds can have on secondary and tertiary education institutions in the US context, I felt that I could have an impact in bringing some of that thinking back to Clifton. I truly benefitted from my time spent at the school – supporting the efforts of the Trust now will help strengthen its position for the future”
