On Thursday 23rd November 2017 The Cliftonian Society held the Percival Dinner, Clifton's 'blue riband fundraising event', at the Underglobe at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London.
OCs, parents and their guests attended this black tie event, with the purpose of raising funds for bursary support for talented pupils.
Hosted by the Globe's CEO, Neil Constable, and MC'd by OC, John Inverdale, the captivating evening included; a chance to view the Theatre's exhibition, a ‘Heads and Tails’ quiz, a silent (iPad) auction which ran throughout the evening (offering an impressive variety of unique lots kindly donated by OCs and parents), finishing with the last five star lots being auctioned live. We were also entertained by OC performances, including a 'Yes Head Master' sketch and Dame Edna performance!
The evening was a resounding success.
