1862 Club celebrates its fourth Annual Lunch
The fourth annual lunch was held on the 5th May 2017 in the Cricket Pavilion.
A gathering of over 35 (the largest so far) enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by the school catering department before being welcomed by the Head Master, Dr Tim Greene.
This was followed by a musical performance from Valentin Kasparov (NT) playing the trombone - A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square by M. Sherwin and The Acrobat by J.A. Greenwood; accompanied by James Drinkwater (Deputy Director of Music and the College Organist). Valentin is a Joseph Cooper Music Scholar and winner of the Kadoorie Cup in April 2016.
It was an excellent event and we were gratified by the many letters of thanks and appreciation. To view photographs taken at the event, please click on the gallery above.
The 1862 Club was created to recognise and appreciate those who have included Clifton in their Will. It gives the School the opportunity to thank members in their lifetime. There are currently 78 members.
