Results and destinations

In 2024, 73% of A Level grades were A*-B and 94% of pupils got into one of their chosen universities/courses, 54% of GCSE grades were 9-7 with 31 different subjects offered.

Almost all of our pupils go on to higher education and in 2024, 94% of pupils won places at their chosen universities, including places at Oxford and other highly competitive universities such as Durham, Exeter, Edinburgh and UCL.

Excellent results by themselves are not the only signifier of a well-rounded education. We place equal importance on personal growth and independence. At every step of their education, pupils are encouraged to question theories and conventional approaches, and to learn to think critically and independently. We want all pupils to embrace life after Clifton College as the best version of themselves that they can be.

Clifton College has long been known for instilling a longstanding sense of community among our pupils. For many, being a part of the College continues long after their school days have passed. Old Cliftonians (OCs) remain engaged with the school, contributing their time, talents, and expertise in ways that enrich the current generation of students and maintain the legacy of excellence for which the school is known.
