Ryan Bresnahan memorial hockey match

On a wet and wintry Valentines evening, the 1st XI played against the OCs in the annual Ryan Bresnahan memorial match.

The game, as always, was a very hotly contested affair. The OCs came with a very enthusiastic and experienced side. The OCs started strong going 1.0 up in the first few minutes.

However, the 1st XI played their way into the game and started to create a few goal scoring opportunities. Will scored twice to put the 1st XI into the lead. However the OCs pegged one bag soon after.

Seb finished off neatly to make the score 3-3, going into the last 10 minutes. Experience played a vital part in the final moments when the OCs finished off two counter attacks to win 5.3.

A big thank you to Michelle Bresnahan and to everyone involved to make it a fantastic evening for all.
