We believe that School for younger children should be fun. A happy and contented child will achieve more and get more from their time at Clifton College, both in and outside of the classroom.
Music, sports and drama play an important part of life at Clifton College, and this holds true in the Preparatory School, where we introduce pupils to culture and art in the hope of encouraging lifelong passions. We aim to engage, delight and educate your child, and create a happy, stimulating environment where they feel encouraged to explore, investigate and learn to communicate their discoveries.
Much of our emphasis is on learning through play; for example, at the Forest School, where children explore and experience the natural world through practical activities that help them grow in confidence and self-esteem. These are benefits that will have positive effects on all areas of a child’s life and learning.
