Child Centred Learning

Child Centred Learning

Our newly built Nursery, Early Years Playground and Forest School provide a relaxed and creative environment.

Reading is fun and we are one of the few nurseries in the country to have our own dedicated Early Years library. Our trained librarian specialises in finding the very best books for young children to help ignite a lifelong passion for reading.

Nursery ReadingYour child will be given their own key worker who will take the time to get to know them really well. They are then able to provide parents with regular reports on how well their child is doing in seven key areas:

  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Communication and language
  • Physical Development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design.

Parents are also invited to join us to understand all aspects of their child’s learning and development such as phonics, maths. Parents also have access to our Interactive Learning Diary which records observations, assessments and the child's learning journey to develop their own Next Steps every six weeks.

We also encourage parents or grandparents to come along to one of our regular events such as Stay and Play, Tea Parties or Grandparents day.
