The House System
The House System is one of the most important aspects of pastoral care at Clifton College. Each child is assigned to a single sex House in one of our spacious Victorian dwellings. The House is a special place where problems can be aired and confidences kept. The Houses also give parents a point of daily contact with their children’s pastoral staff, whether they board at the school or not.
In addition, every child is part of a small tutor group within their House, and the tutor has a key role to play in the regular monitoring of their educational and social development.
