Clifton College Preparatory School successfully combines the charm of tradition and heritage with the most up-to-date aspects and expectations of modern school life.
Specialised buildings such as the Joseph Cooper Music School and the Redgrave Theatre ensure our pupils have access to first-class facilities that enhance their educational experience.
Our superb sporting facilities include The Close, which has witnessed many magnificent sporting achievements, including the highest-ever recorded score in cricket, when the 13-year-old schoolboy A.E.J. Collins scored 628 not out over four afternoons in June 1899.
The 90-acre site known as Beggar’s Bush (BB) is a more recent addition, and is Bristol’s biggest outdoor sports complex. BB provides the latest sporting facilities including a water-based Olympic standard hockey pitch.
We also have an indoor 25m swimming pool, which is maintained at a constant 29°C and has well-equipped changing rooms.
