Years 7-8

Years 7 and 8 consolidate the learning and discovery from the previous years and prepare pupils for the next step in their educational journey. Being at 'the top of the school', they are given additional responsibilities and develop leadership skills and compassion for younger pupils.

Lessons taught by subject specialists

Lessons are taught by subject specialist teachers. The Prep School has dedicated, fully equipped classrooms for specialist subjects including DT, art, cookery and science.

Sports fixtures

Year 7 and 8 represent the school in weekly sports fixtures against other Prep Schools. There are multiple teams for each sport allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy team sports whatever their skill level.

Parents are invited to support our school teams at fixtures at our sports ground and at away fixtures.

Preparing for our Upper School

Years 7 and 8 prepare pupils for the easy transition into our Upper School in Year 9. Pupils increasingly use the Upper School facilities in these years, whether eating lunch in 'Big School Kitchen' or attending events in Chapel.
