Scholars Journal launch 2025/26

Thursday 12 March 2026

Last week, we launched this year’s edition of the Scholars Journal, a collection of essays and pieces by Upper School academic scholars. The journal is split into three sections: the creative mind, the enquiring mind, and the rhetorical mind. Some of the pieces explore the Treaty of Trianon, animal rights, and Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, alongside a collection of creative short stories.

In his foreword, Dr Wells, Assistant Head Academic, said: “This impressive publication is a fitting reflection of what has been a busy but successful year for all our scholars.”

A special launch event was held in the Percival Library, where scholars gathered with Dr Wells and Dr Greene to unfurl the red ribbon and share copies of the published works with the authors. A huge congratulations and thanks to all who contributed to and supported the production of the journal.
