Clifton College Hosts Inaugural Model UN Conference

The Model United Nations (MUN) Society hosted the College's inaugural MUN conference, CLIFMUN, on Saturday 22nd November.

The conference was organised by 20 pupils from the MUN Society under the direction and exceptional leadership of the Secretaries General, Hannah and Julian. The event saw half a dozen schools and 80 pupils descend on the College for a day of debate, negotiation, lobbying, drafting and voting on a range of resolutions.

Issues included AI, human rights abuses, and a crisis debate on the fallout from the Epstein files across other hot topics in current affairs. Overall, the conference was a remarkable success and laid the groundwork for a second event next year.
