Commencing from Tuesday 23rd September, Clifton College are collaborating with Studio 74, an award-winning contemporary art gallery based on Whiteladies Road in Bristol.
As part of the School’s annual House Art Competition, pupils in the Upper School at Clifton College have been tasked with creating a piece of art based on the theme ‘Closer’.
An exhibition of the pupils’ work can be viewed by members of the wider community in Studio 74 from the 23rd - 28th September 2025, and the winning submissions will be decided by public vote.
All members of the community are encouraged to visit the contemporary art gallery to view the work the students have created. The young artists would love members of the public to be involved and vote for their winning piece which will be on display in the window of the gallery for a full weekend.
Michelle Armour, Head of Art at Clifton College says: “We are so excited to collaborate with Studio 74 for the second year running and for our young people to exhibit their work in a professional space. This collaboration goes beyond showcasing art, it gives young people the platform to showcase their ideas and emotions - where their voices can be heard.”
Do come along to Studio 74, cast your vote and be part of something that's building a stronger connection between education, art and our wider community.
