Clifton College host four Women's Rugby World Cup teams

The start of term was an exciting time at Clifton College and Clifton College Sports Ground as we hosted national sides for training during the Women's Rugby World Cup.

Over a fortnight we facilitated training and practice on our grounds for four teams - Scotland, Australia, New Zealand and France, ahead of their games in the quarter and semi-finals.

Across the weeks, our pupils were fortunate enough to meet some of the players and ask some questions, watch some of the training sessions, perform the French national anthem for Les Bleues and even get some autographs!

It was an incredible experience watching professional training sessions for the Women's Rugby World Cup right in the heart of our School.
