On Saturday, Clifton College's Boat Club traveled to Evesham for their first regatta of the season.
Louis, racing in the J18 single sculls category, found the conditions challenging and despite a strong start saw him lose by one and a half lengths in the semi final.
The boys J17 coxed four saw Lily, Harry, Dougie, Theo and Jonny find their opposition from Kings Edwards School a tough crew to beat, but they learnt a great deal from their race.
Arthur and Briden in the J16 double and the J15 quad of Hector, Basile, Calver and Luke raced competitively against Stourport Boat Club and the City of Oxford boat Club respectively, but again lost in their semi finals.
The crew of the day were Jack and Archie who made the final of the J18 doubles sculls event, but narrowly lost out by one length overall. A big well done to all crews who took part particularly at this busy time of the academic year.
