Clifton College’s Lower Sixth Form Rugby player, Harry Ascherl, has had an exciting start to the New Year. Having already captained Bristol Bears Academy, Harry will take part in a special Rugby training camp.
The camp takes place at Shaftsbury Park, in Bristol, and is for players who have been chosen to train for the England U18s Development Squad on the 21st to 24th Feb. These training days are for a wider England squad that will be narrowed down in the build up to the Six Nations U18s Festival in April.
Harry said, “I am really excited to take part in the Rugby training camp. To have the possibility to play for England U18s in front of me is an amazing feeling. If you had asked me this time last year, I’d have never of thought that I’d get this far – I’m really happy with my progress.”
Harry also played for the Bristol Bears Academy v Saracens Academy match this Saturday, where he performed well in a tough contest. Well done Harry, great work on a tremendous achievement and good luck.
