The wonderful Pre-Preparatory children showed their families and friends all the hard work they have done this year at Celebration Morning and it was a huge success.
The morning started with a speech from Mrs Newman, Headmistress of the Pre-Preparatory School, which highlighted that ‘kindness’ is one of the most important traits a teacher must have in order to inspire the children and create a positive learning environment.
The activities started soon after the speeches and the children delighted their families with karate performances, cricket games, strings lessons and classroom activities. It was lovely for the children to show off what they do at school and everyone enjoyed themselves.
The morning ended with Pimms for the adults in the Breton Memorial Hall and an incredible concert from the strings, Ukulele and guitar groups as a grand finale.
Jo Newman, Headmistress of the Pre-Preparatory School, said: “Celebration Morning is such a lovely way for the children to treat their family with a glimpse of their school life. I am so proud of the fantastic work they do every day and I am always blown away by the diverse range of talents that they confidently perform in front of so many people.
“I would like to thank everyone for celebrating the Pre-Prep with us and making the morning so special for the children.”
