As part of a new initiative by Tatler Magazine, Clifton College were invited to appoint a Tatler Schools Social Editor from within the Sixth Form. Ella Kipling was appointed after impressing at interview and in her written test. We caught up with her about her new role…
“During half term, I was given the wonderful opportunity of going to Vogue House in London for my induction day as Tatler’s Schools Social Editor for Clifton College. Upon arriving, I was nervous as the idea of writing for Tatler became a reality and before I knew it I was listening to Kate Reardon, Editor of Tatler Magazine, presenting to a room full of excited Sixth Form students.
We had the chance to listen and learn from some of the most influential figures at Tatler and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet such powerful women in jobs that I one day dream of having.
Following the presentations, we were given the opportunity to brainstorm with Gavanndra Hodge and I was able to put forward my ideas and opinions on the magazine and our new role within it. I have been so inspired by the passion showed for the magazine by the editors and I am determined to emulate this within my articles, which I look forward to writing.”
