Old Cliftonian selected to play against India U19s

Prem Sisodiya

Congratulations to Prem Sisodiya who has been selected for an England U19 Invitational XI to play against India U19's at Loughborough University on Wednesday 19th July.

Clifton College Cricket professional, Jim Williams said: "I am delighted that Prem's outstanding performances at school and his potential for the future have been recognised with his selection for the Invitational XI. He has been in superb form with both bat and ball, and this represents a fantastic opportunity for him to showcase his talents. It is great that Fin Trenouth, also an Old Cliftonian, having left the College at the end of Year 11, has been selected for the same squad."

John Bobby, Master in charge of Cricket at Clifton College, was similarly delighted with the news: "Having three players from Clifton (Louie Shaw toured with the England U19s to India earlier this year) in England squads over the last 12 months is a great achievement and demonstrates our commitment, through the Cricket programme at Clifton, to developing excellent cricketers."
