College hosts Penny Brohn Christmas Concert

College hosts Penny Brohn Christmas Concert

We had a really special night hosting the Penny Brohn UK Christmas Concert in the College Chapel decorated with candles, lights and a fine Christmas tree.

Penny Brohn UK is the leading holistic cancer charity in the UK, helping people live well with the impact of the disease. We were delighted to be able to offer our chapel again as a venue for their annual Christmas concert.

The College Chapel Choir sang three carols to a packed house including new composition Comes the Light by Year 13 student Henry Metcalfe, and an incredible £5,308.08 was raised. This was one of many fine performances of Christmas music taking place near the end of term including the Advent Carol Service, Christmas Carol Service or Christmas Concert, all of which were outstanding occasions.

Well done to all the students involved in music this term! Have a look through the gallery below to see some photos from this special evening.
