The Preparatory School Christmas Carol Service was a great way to round off the Michaelmas Term. The event included performances by the Chapel choir and the Clifton Cantate as well as hymns and readings, which were given by pupils from Year 4 to Year 8.
The congregations raised the roof of the packed out Clifton Chapel with favourites such as Silent Night and Once in Royal David’s City before the final candlelit hymn rounded off proceedings with a flourish.
Preparatory School Headmaster John Milne said: “It was wonderful to see so many parents in Chapel for this fantastic event. The quality of singing and reading was excellent and it created a tremendous sense of community, which is a real strength of Clifton College.
“It was also great to see pupils having the opportunity to give readings or sing in front of an audience and I know our pupils were really proud to share with all of us what they had prepared for the occasion.”
