After only 16 launches, he was the youngest of all the cadets on the course to go solo, and was one of only 2 other people to achieve this feat.
In addition to this, he was awarded a cup for the “Best Pilot" and had a fantastic week.
On this amazing achievement, Harry said:
"I was delighted to win the Fleet Air Arm Gliding scholarship and spent the most amazing week gliding at HMS Daedulus. I was delighted to go solo on the fourth day, and even happier to win the award for ‘Best Pilot’ at the Prize giving ceremony. I had the most amazing summer, starting with sailing in The Tall Ships Race 2016 and ending by learning to fly!"
Clifton College wish Harry all the best in his future endeavours both in the water and in the air, and thank you for sharing your achievement with us!
