Our production of The Railway Children debuted at the College's Redgrave Theatre on 25th May.
The Railway Children was produced in just four weeks and was performed by pupils in Year 9 and 10 (Third and Fourth Form) who have worked exceptionally hard at creating something very special.
The superb staging was designed by Sam Hollis Pack (our own Theatre Manager) and was well supported by the lighting and sound effects to give the audience the feel of a railway station setting and of the landslide.
Thanks should also go to the other members of the technical teams, including those who helped create the fabulous costumes, make-up and hair styles.
Head of Drama Karen Pickles said: “The pupils are very proud of their production, which has been a sell-out, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with them."
She added: “Following this production we will then be looking forward to the six-day challenge of Twelfth Night on the Quad and marking 400 years since the death of Shakespeare.”
