A passing out Parade was held for Clifton College on Monday 14th March for the Upper 6th leavers.
Having made the choice to join the CCF in the 4th form these 6th formers have now reached the end of their time and are stood down for their last term at Clifton. These cadets have all attended numerous camps and courses and for the last two terms have, with the guidance of adult officers, been running their individual sections.
The passing out parade is a long-standing Clifton tradition and involves the whole CCF lining the parapet whilst the Upper 6th march through the ranks, present a general salute to the Commanding Officer, and march through Memorial Arch in uniform for the last time.
This is rounded off by throwing caps and berets into the air and hoping they retrieve their own when they land!
