Clifton College played proud hosts to the Japanese Rugby World Cup team this week.
The squad chose The Close as one of the venues for their training in preparation for the World Cup tournament which starts this week.
Pupils and staff watched on as the backs and back row players showed their prowess on the Close, whilst the front row forwards worked out in the weights room (surprise!).
The whole squad then then joined together outside for line out work.
Paul Askew, Head of Sport, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome them the team here and I think they really enjoyed themselves. It’s a lovely place to play rugby."
