Yesterday was a wonderful day hosting the IAPS Girls' National U12 Hockey Championships. It was a beautiful crisp, sunny day to welcome all visiting schools to Clifton College Sports Ground for the event.

Congratulations to Jess on signing with University of North Florida to study Psychology, with an incredible tennis scholarship.

The first ever Young Writers’ Competition was launched by Clifton LitFest in September as part of their new YA strand. Creatives from across Bristol took part and we were thrilled when it was announced that two Clifton College students won the top prizes in their categories.

This weekend was significant in the life of the College. Like many people across the country, we gathered in Chapel on Saturday and Sunday with parents and guests to remember with gratitude and thanksgiving those who have given their lives in the service of others.

We are pleased to announce that the new 3G Pitch at the Sports Ground is now fully refurbished and open for use. The previous surface, originally installed in 2008, served us well beyond its projected lifespan of 10 years, a testament to its quality and the care taken in its maintenance.

The Alumni and Development Team, led by Dr Greene, Head of College, recently concluded a highly successful engagement trip to Hong Kong and Singapore.

Many congratulations to all pupils who took part in this year’s House Song Festival.

Sixth form pupils represent their respective club's first team and currently play on opposing teams within Bristol.

We are thrilled to be named as a Finalist in this year's Independent Schools of the Year awards in the 'School Trip of the Year' category.

It was a standout weekend for Old Cliftonians in the Premiership and URC leagues. 

We are delighted to share that ELC Bristol, a member of the Clifton College Education Group, has once again been recognised at the top of the EL Gazette UK language centre rankings. The school is among a select group of institutions to maintain a perfect 10/10 score in both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 Centre of Excellence lists.

In September, the Polack’s House Educational Trust (PHET) and Clifton College hosted a reception in London, bringing together Old Polackians for an evening to reconnect with their peers and their school.
