Holocaust Memorial Day Civic Commemoration

Nine pupils from Years 8 to 13 attended the Holocaust Memorial Day Civic Commemoration at Bristol City Hall, together with Clifton College’s Jewish Chaplain yesterday.
The annual event, which is organised by the City Council and a group of volunteers included a live link to the memorial service in Auschwitz marking 75 years since the liberation of the concentration camp.
Other speakers included Holocaust educator, Dame Helen Hyde, and Holocaust survivor, Annick Lever, who shared their very moving and inspiring personal stories.
