Clifton College Sports Centre

The Clifton College Sports Centre is open to the general public, with facilities open around the school usage, most notably during early mornings, evenings and weekends in term time, with considerable extended hours through the school holidays.

We also run a selection of group fitness classes available to members and non-members.

Fitness room

The 40-station fitness room at Clifton College Sports Centre has state-of-the-art Technogym Excite Cardio equipment, top of the range selection of Technogym Resistance equipment and free-weights training equipment.

Swimming pool

Our 25m heated indoor swimming pool is maintained at a constant 29°C with well-equipped changing facilities. Our programme includes adults only, open swim sessions and weekly Family Fun Swim’s.

Clifton College Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons at Clifton College are held on Saturday mornings.

Our high quality lessons follow the Swim England learn to swim framework and stages 1-7 are available. Lessons are available for children age 4+.

Stages 1 and 2 have a maximum of four swimmers for each teacher, ensuring that every individual gets the attention they need when first learning to swim. Stages 3 upwards have a maximum of six swimmers.

Each lesson is 30 minutes. Lessons are booked in termly blocks.
