Clifton College is one of the country’s leading public boarding and day schools. The College has more than 1300 pupils aged 3 to 18, two large commercial sports facilities, a commercial theatre and more than 500 staff, all based across two primary sites.

Marketing Consultant - self-employed

For over 150 years, Clifton College has had a national reputation for providing outstanding education to boys and girls, aged 3 to 18. In 1878 the first Jewish house (later known as Polack’s House) opened at Clifton Collage and a Jewish community has been firmly established ever since. The Polack’s House Educational Trust (PHET) provides scholarships and bursaries to Jewish applicants from the UK and around the world.

PHET and Clifton College are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Consultant to promote the College to the Jewish community nationally and internationally. The role reports to The Chairman of Trustees and the Board of PHET and is responsible for designing a Marketing Strategy to promote the benefits of the College and PHET scholarships and bursaries directly to the Jewish community in North London, UK and internationally. The hours of work will be approximately 15 hours a week, although it is anticipated that initially the candidate will have to work full-time to develop the strategy. Competitive consultant rates will be offered.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of modern media communication channels and experience of preparing marketing campaigns and presentations. They will also need to engage with the Old Polackians and work with them to engage the wider community. The role will be supported by the Clifton College Marketing Department.

Lifeguard (Casual), £6.60 per hour

Clifton College Sports Centre is a multi-use facility used for School purposes and the wider community, open 7 days per week and runs a variety of swim catering for all ages and swimming abilities. Shifts cover a variety of times throughout the day. Lifeguards are expected to supervise the security and safety of the public ensuring their enjoyment in all areas of the facility and carry out rescues as required.

A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential.
